When it comes to the Cannes Film Festival, de Grisogono never disappoints. The excitement is high as we wait to see what the Maison will unveil on the red carpet this year… and here is a sneak peak – a bold and creative jewel, in perfect de Grisogono style.
While waiting for de Grisogono‘s High Jewellery ateliers to release stunning jewels, the Maison unveils to the world an enchanting high jewellery bracelet recalling the wild Mediterranean Sea’s rocks.
A stunning jewel that remains faithful to de Grisogono’s stylistic codes: a bold colour combination with the red of rubies, the deep green of emeralds and the clear white of diamonds; a blackened rhodium-plated treatment that enhances the black and white contrast of light and shadow so dear to Mr Gruosi.
This is a bracelet that has an important presence on one’s wrist, although remaining light and smooth thanks to its perfect proportions.
The bracelet is perfectly flexible, and very soft. Its structure reveals the rubies’ “sauvage” setting, that frame five superb cabochon-cut emeralds (for a total weight of more than 77 carats).
Its design evokes a living creature, the forms of the rocks of the Mediterranean Sea.
This high jewellery bracelet reveals a ruby-encrusted embroidery that gently lays on one’s wrist, and it surprises by the dark tone given by the black rhodium-plated gold.
A bold and intriguing jewel, that paves the way to more marvels to be unveiled on Cannes’ red carpet next May 17th. CC
