Jewellery has never been merely decorative.
A jewel is a fragment of history — shaped by hands, worn by women, carried across time. It speaks of power and vulnerability, of craftsmanship and commerce, of memory and identity.
High Jewellery Dream was founded in 2014 by Claudia Carletti as an independent platform dedicated to exploring jewellery as cultural history. Through research and narrative interpretation, the site examines both historical and contemporary creations with attention to context, authorship, and meaning.
Rather than approaching high jewellery as spectacle alone, High Jewellery Dream seeks to trace the threads that connect individual pieces to the societies that produced them — revealing how jewels reflect artistic innovation, economic exchange, political influence, and personal identity.
The platform brings together contemporary collection analysis, exhibition coverage, auction highlights, and archival research, offering a considered perspective on jewellery beyond surface brilliance.
Claudia Carletti, based in Milan, is a GIA Applied Jewellery Professional and an International Marketing Manager with a longstanding engagement in global cultural contexts. Her international experience informs her understanding of jewellery not only as luxury, but as cultural expression shaped by history, geography, and human narrative.
High Jewellery Dream remains a space of curiosity and study — where craftsmanship, heritage, and meaning converge.
