Gabrielle Chanel’s cherished symbols (Comet, Star, Ribbon Camellia and Lion) inspire a new high jewellery collection, Les Intemporels de Chanel. A renewed illustration of the Maison’s endless creative spirit.
Les Intemporels de Chanel is the new high jewellery collection which was unveiled for the first time at the end of January 2015, in Paris, Place Vendôme.
A collection shaped by four motifs leading to four major symbols deeply linked to Gabrielle Chanel’s creative universe: the Comet, the Star, the Ribbon, the Camellia and the Lion.
Symbols which are strongly present in Chanel’s fine jewellery creations (Comet, Ribbon and Lion are also leitmotif of an exceptional collection of 80 High Jewellery which was created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the “Bijoux de Diamants” and which toured the world in 2012 – read the full story here).
Symbols which materialize in front of us, through the polish of the white gold, and the brilliance of pure white diamonds in contrast with the black of onyx, to evoke Chanel’s imagery and visionary heritage, renewing its creative pattern to reach full timelessness. CC
