The case is in 18k pink gold with flared lungs, embellished by a brilliant-cut diamond setting. A faceted diamond also sets the 18k gold crown.

The finest in decoration from Japan: the Urushi lacquer.
The Urushi is a lacquer commonly appreciated for its brilliance, elegance and lustre that gives objects covering. Once collected, filtered and evaporated to obtain the first urushi said clear, the artefact can receive several layers, before moving to the polishing.
To work the urushi lacquer is a very long process. It can take several months of delicate work to finish decorating an object. And, the higher is the number of layers of lacquer used, the longer the drying time and the higher the value of the object in question.
As a precious decoration for the dial of the Divas’ Dream Minute Repeater, the urushi dial is sprinkled with gold dust, in a dégradé effect from an intense to a subtle gold tone, like in a wave of gold.

A lovely element graces this timepiece. Diamonds adorn a little fan-shaped charm, on the side of the case. A symbol of femininity that serves to slide the striking mechanism.
