Venice, a magical city made of land and water, provided the best setting for Omega to celebrate its all-new Seamaster Aqua Terra family.
The fabulous setting of Palazzo Pisani Moretta, in Venice, provided the perfect scenery for the exclusive event Aqua Terra hosted by Omega, which saw numerous VIPs, including the Oscar-winner actor Eddy Redmayne, friend of the brand. The guests had also the pleasure of tasting a refined dinner prepared by Michelin-star chef Carlo Cracco.
The choice for such an iconic location came just natural, as the Seamaster’s logo recalls the typical seahorse carved in the Venetian gondolas. Venice could not but be the ideal place to celebrate Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra’s new models.
Welcoming his guests, Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann defined the new timepieces as “a new exceptional edition of the Aqua Terra family“, while Eddy Redmayne loved the watches’ symmetrical looks, appreciating their classic and timeless style.
The Seamaster Aqua Terra watches represent a very balanced mix between elegant and sporty looks and, with these new models, there are quite a few improvements.
Notably one will admire the horizontal teak pattern on the dial, as well as the refined aesthetics and the new symmetrical case.
Presenting steel or Sedna™18k gold cases or a mix of these two, the new collection Aqua Terra Gents’ offers variations that will please the most demanding taste.
Dials will then be black, brown, grey or argenté, accompanied by a vast selection of bracelets and straps – in steel, leather or rubber.
The collection is certified as Master Chronometer, and it allows the Seamaster Aqua Terra to reach a new level in terms of precision and performance.
Beauty and performance also for ladies, with the Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Chronometer Ladies’ Collection.
This is the perfect fit for women looking for both action and elegance.
The family completes itself with the Aqua Terra 150m “Goodplanet”, built from a sturdy grade 5 titanium and boasting the ocean’s blue shades; the Aqua Terra 2017 “Golf” Collection, a 41mm stainless steel on NATO straps, and the Aqua Terra >15,000 Gauss, the first truly anti-magnetic mechanical watch.
