With CHANCE de CHANEL, these private tokens are reinterpreted as precious medals, each stamped like a seal with her handwritten signature in gold. For the first time, five emblems of her world unite in jewellery: the Ear of Wheat for abundance, the Lion for courage, the Camellia as her emblematic flower, the Comet for freedom, and her fateful number 5.

More than visual statements, the CHANCE de CHANEL medals are designed as sensory jewels. The TALISMANS Medal

Crafted in yellow gold, the reversible TALISMANS medal conjures prosperity, fortune, and guidance through three of Chanel’s beloved symbols: the Ear of Wheat, the Comet, and the number 5.

Enhanced by two diamonds, the medal’s irregular edges echo the timeless allure of antique coins. Its uneven sandblasted surface sets off mirror-polished motifs that glisten like constellations. On the reverse, Gabrielle Chanel’s signature appears beneath a diamond-set star—a discreet reminder of her guiding presence. Worn against the skin or facing outward, the medal embraces luck in all its facets.

The SYMBOLES Medal

If the TALISMANS medal evokes the treasures of antiquity, the SYMBOLES creation offers a strikingly modern interpretation. At its heart lies a plaque of untreated black jade, a natural stone whose intense depth magnifies four mirror-polished gold motifs: the Comet, recalling the pioneering Bijoux de Diamants collection of 1932; the Camellia, reimagined from the masculine wardrobe and elevated into a timeless emblem of femininity; the Lion, Gabrielle’s astrological sign, associated with courage and strength; and the Ear of Wheat, signifying prosperity.

Framed with gold and edged with 74 diamonds, the composition is illuminated at its centre by a 0.21-carat diamond. On the reverse, technical savoir-faire borrowed from watchmaking comes into play: a laser-engraved bas-relief endlessly repeats “CHANEL,” bringing rhythm and strength to the jewel, punctuated by a diamond. The sliding clasp enables playful adjustment of the chain length, providing versatility in how the piece is worn.
