In a bold new chapter of high jewellery and haute horlogerie, Bvlgari unveils Polychroma — a collection that transcends boundaries to explore the infinite richness of colour, form, and emotional resonance.
Inspired by the Greek poly (many) and chroma (colour), with a final poetic nod to Roma, the Eternal City, Polychroma celebrates diversity and radiantly declares the Maison’s creative identity.
The collection debuted in Taormina, one of Sicily’s most enchanting jewels, where ancient grandeur and contemporary allure merge in timeless harmony. Against this evocative backdrop, Bvlgari transformed the town into a living stage, presenting over 600 creations — including 250 new high jewellery and high-end watchmaking designs, and a record-setting 60 million-euro masterpieces — across an immersive, three-act experience.
The evening opened with a gala dinner at the Grand Hotel Timeo, where Sicilian artistry met Roman opulence on a panoramic terrace overlooking Mount Etna. Set with Caltagirone ceramics, neo-antique statues, and vibrant local fruit compositions, the tablescape mirrored the colourful audacity of the collection itself.

The emotional climax unfolded at the Teatro Greco, where Polychroma came to life as a contemporary performance inspired by Greek tragedy. Amid monumental arches and suspended veils, models adorned in Bvlgari’s most emblematic creations and dressed by designer Francesco Murano moved through an ethereal scenography. The choreography, directed by the visionary Sir Wayne McGregor, translated the collection’s soul into movement — a poetic crescendo of emotion, colour, and form.

The third act led guests into the heart of Bvlgari’s universe: an extraordinary showroom set within the San Domenico Palace, a 15th-century former convent. Inside, the Maison’s most ambitious display to date unfolded beneath organza drapes inspired by ancient velarium, alongside Carrara marble sculptures by Riccardo Gatti, volcanic ceramics by Malagioie, and chromatic niches of onyx and coloured marble. Highlights included the Gallery of Wonders, five one-of-a-kind creations showcased beneath woven reinterpretations of Zach Lieberman’s digital art, rendered in Venetian jacquard by Rubelli, and placed atop a hand-crafted marble mosaic star made in Ravenna.

Bvlgari also introduced avant-garde experiences: the Polychroma Theatre installation by Giuseppe Lo Schiavo, where light and digital colour animated a Roman statue; and a Mixed Reality journey via Apple Vision Pro, immersing guests in the Maison’s chromatic legacy. For the first time in high jewellery, Bvlgari also launched its Connected Jewellery concept — encoding each jewel with a scannable digital signature, offering exclusive access to its story, materials, and rarity.
Further underscoring its cultural commitment, the Fondazione Bvlgari announced two patronage initiatives: the restoration of a symbolic fresco at Palazzo Corvaja in Taormina and the development of a tactile path for the visually impaired at Museo Archeologico Antonino Salinas in Palermo, ensuring that art and heritage remain accessible to all.
As light refracts through a prism, revealing its hidden hues, so too does Polychroma unveil a universe where colour becomes language and every jewel a living story. The collection weaves rare gemstones, architectural precision, and global inspiration into a symphony of high artistry, pushing the limits of what high jewellery can express.
Each creation in Polychroma embodies the vibrancy of our DNA. This collection reaffirms our commitment to excellence, pushing ever further the limits of what luxury can mean.

The Gallery of Wonders: Five Masterpieces of Emotion and Form
At the heart of Polychroma lies the Gallery of Wonders, a curated ensemble of five one-of-a-kind high jewellery creations that embody the Maison’s most audacious craftsmanship and emotional storytelling. These masterpieces are not only a feat of gemmological excellence, but also vessels of symbolism, movement, and multicultural inspiration — designed to astonish in both form and soul.
The Cosmic Vault necklace draws inspiration from celestial constellations and the domed skyline of Rome.
Its centrepiece — a 123.35-carat sugarloaf sapphire from Sri Lanka in a majestic royal blue — evokes the night sky and pays homage to the 66-carat sapphire Bvlgari once created for Elizabeth Taylor. The gem’s velvety cabochon cut softens its radiance, while over 200 assembled elements, including 331 buff-top sapphires and 13 diamond drops, form a dynamic yet harmonious structure that moves like silk on the skin.

The Celestial Mosaic necklace reflects the joyful geometry of the Tree of Life mosaic in Jericho and the rich traditions of Mughal ornamentation.
Its heart is a 131.21-carat spinel from Tajikistan — the fourth largest in the world and the finest known — glowing with inner fire. Around it, a kaleidoscope of pink and green tourmalines, buff-top emeralds, onyx, and diamonds come together in an opulent yet airy design, composed of nearly 200 flexible components. The result is a seamless dialogue between East and West, antiquity and futurism.

The Polychromatic Bloom necklace is an ode to vitality, femininity, and the expressive force of colour. Designed with over 500 sculptural elements in rose gold, the piece blossoms around a spectacular trio: a 106.36-carat rubellite, a 55.52-carat peridot, and a 55.11-carat tanzanite — all in luscious cabochon cuts. Framed by graphic floral motifs and a contemporary chain, this creation captures the joie de vivre at the heart of Bvlgari’s design philosophy.

With Polychroma, we explore the limitless possibilities of colour — combining shades that speak directly to the heart. Each gem becomes a doorway to emotion, inspired by art, architecture, and nature’s wonders.

Design as Legacy: Reinterpreting Icons with Visionary Craft
True to its Roman heritage and ever-forward spirit, Bvlgari uses Polychroma not only to dazzle with innovation but to reimagine the past through the lens of the present. This chapter of the collection is devoted to reviving the Maison’s most emblematic designs, elevating them with extraordinary gemstones and unexpected cuts that reflect a new language of luxury.
Among these, the Essence of Yellow ring reinterprets the iconic Trombino, originally created in 1928 by Leonilde Bulgari. This extraordinary high-jewellery piece features an ultra-rare fancy vivid yellow diamond of over 45 carats, appearing only once every eight million stones. Rather than opting for a conventional brilliant cut to enhance colour, Bvlgari embraces the purity of an Asscher cut, amplifying the gem’s architectural presence. Set in platinum and flanked by 42 step-cut and pavé diamonds, the piece radiates solar brilliance while paying tribute to the Maison’s legacy of daring sophistication.

The Magnus Emerald necklace is a triumph of scale and elegance. At its centre lies a 241.06-carat Colombian emerald, the largest ever used in Bvlgari’s history — a stone of exceptional clarity, vibrancy, and presence. Suspended from a sautoir-style necklace that combines a classical diamond rivière at the back with bold sculptural forms at the front, the design evokes the spirit of 1970s glamour reinterpreted through a modern, dynamic sensibility. With this piece, nature’s perfection meets human imagination — and exceeds it.

Horological Marvels: Time Transformed through Light, Shadow, and Design
In Polychroma, time itself becomes a canvas for artistry. Bvlgari’s high-end watchmaking creations reflect the Maison’s singular ability to unite Roman symbolism with Swiss technical mastery — where jewellery, sculpture, and mechanical precision converge.
The Nuvole Preziose pendant watch is inspired by the octagonal geometry of the Basilica of Maxentius and the radiant sunbursts of Bernini. Its centrepiece is a 6.88-carat yellow cushion-cut sapphire, set within an architectural silhouette. The piece features a trembler butterfly, a delicate homage to an archival Bvlgari brooch, and movable cloud-shaped elements that detach to become earrings. Taking 1,560 hours to complete, the design is a luminous tribute to the Italian sky and its celestial drama.

The Notte Stellata Diva timepiece pays homage to the mysterious beauty of a Roman night, lit by fireflies. Beneath a dome-shaped crystal evoking the cabochon cut, a miniature scene unfolds: a diamond-set moon, yellow diamond and blue sapphire fireflies in motion, and a soft snowfall of princess-cut pavé. The flexible bracelet — embellished with dégradé sapphires — completes this poetic dreamscape of light and shadow.

The Serpenti Aeterna reimagines Bvlgari’s most iconic motif with minimalist power. Stripped of ornamentation, the form of the serpent is reduced to an elegant white gold cuff, its curves fluid and strong. Offered in two variants — one with sapphires, the other with emeralds — the design speaks to metamorphosis, timeless femininity, and self-renewal.

One twirl bracelet (size 155 mm) and case set with 428 diamonds (4,93 ct), 263 emeralds of varying sizes (4,35 ct) and one central emerald (0,45 ct). Dial set with 107 diamonds (0,25 ct), green hands.

The Gioco di Forme e Colori secret watch conceals time beneath a detachable brooch, its centre set with a 12.34-carat tanzanite and radiant golden sunbeams. Surrounding it, a dazzling burst of coloured gems — emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and garnets — form a joyous chromatic constellation. The watch is set on a reverse-wound Tubogas bracelet, a bold statement of movement and modernity.

Completing the horological lineup is the Tubogas e Colori manchette watch — a reinterpretation of Bvlgari’s iconic Tubogas in polished rose gold, adorned with hardstones and precious gems including sodalite, rubellite, turquoise, coral, and a 6.65-carat amethyst crystal dial. The piece combines tactile richness with graphic purity, offering a wearable sculpture of colour and light.

Together, these timepieces demonstrate how Bvlgari’s horological creations go beyond function — becoming expressions of storytelling, geometry, and cultural resonance.
The Heart Within: The Miniature Majesty of Piccolissimo
At the core of Bvlgari’s high-end timepieces in Polychroma lies a triumph of micro-engineering: the Piccolissimo movement. As one of the smallest mechanical movements in the world, it exemplifies Bvlgari’s fusion of innovation and elegance, enabling complex, gem-laden watches to remain as light and fluid as silk on the wrist.
With a diameter of just 12 millimetres and a weight of only 1.3 grams, the Piccolissimo movement powers all of the collection’s timepieces — except Serpenti Aeterna — and does so with precision, grace, and discretion. Its miniaturised form allows for unexpected design freedom, unlocking new possibilities in composition, wearability, and artistic storytelling.
Haute joaillerie continues to redefine the boundaries of watchmaking. The Piccolissimo movement allows us to honour our heritage while creating exquisite, contemporary jewels.

A Chromatic Philosophy: Colour as Language, Legacy, and Emotion
In Polychroma, colour is not merely aesthetic — it is narrative. Each gemstone is chosen not only for its rarity, but for its capacity to evoke emotion, contrast, movement, and meaning. Bvlgari’s mastery lies in its fearless yet refined approach to chromatic pairing, where bold juxtapositions feel not only harmonious, but inevitable.

From the inky royal blues of Sri Lankan sapphires to the radiant green depths of Colombian emeralds, the golden fire of fancy vivid diamonds to the cool geometry of turquoise and onyx, Polychroma explores colour as an expression of identity and culture. Each creation speaks a global language, drawing influences from Greco-Roman architecture, Mughal ornamentation, Renaissance mosaics, and contemporary digital art.
The result is a chromatic universe that is unmistakably Bvlgari: maximalist in spirit, architectural in structure, and emotionally immediate. In this world, colour becomes not just embellishment, but essence.
The Future of High Jewellery, Rooted in Light
With Polychroma, Bvlgari reaffirms its role not only as a jeweller, but as a storyteller, cultural patron, and design visionary. The collection is a meditation on how beauty can transcend borders, how heritage can be reimagined, and how the language of colour can unite emotion and intellect.

From the stage of the Teatro Greco to the illuminated halls of the San Domenico Palace, Polychroma unfolded as a multi-sensory journey — one that celebrated nature’s wonders, human artistry, and the eternal spirit of Rome.
