For Valentine’s Day, Jaquet Droz’s Petite Heure Minute goes red with a new limited edition.
The Petite Heure Minute Cuprite wears a new colour, that red hue donated to this fine watchmaking creation by the cuprite, a precious stone first discovered in the mid-19th century.

Of a sensual red, the cuprite adds to the dial a unique shimmer, higlighting the mother-of-pearl dial and echoed by the 18k red gold case.
A result that does show the watchmaking dexterity, being this precious stone quite difficult to work with because of its tendency to crumble.
In particular, this cuprite, called Sonora Sunrise, comes from Mexico. Copper oxides in the stone, composing a dreamy landscape all in red hues.
