Dior Unveils the Magnificent Diorama & Diorigami High Jewellery Collection
Since 1999, Dior’s iconic codes have inspired Victoire de Castellane’s exquisite jewellery designs, seamlessly blending heritage with innovation.
This year, the Artistic Director celebrates this rich legacy by introducing the Diorama & Diorigami collection—an enchanting interplay of elegance, history, and artistry, embodying a symbiosis of refinement and voluptuousness.
A Tribute to Timeless Elegance: The Diorama Collection
Diorama’s extraordinary journey reimagines the iconic toile de Jouy, a hallmark of 18th-century French artistry and Christian Dior’s signature motif. This dreamy design, central to Dior’s legacy, adorned the walls, counters, and canopy of his first boutique, Colifichets, in Paris, symbolising his success.
In this collection, toile de Jouy comes to life as intricate frescoes of flora and fauna, enhanced by vibrant hues and exquisite volumes. The pieces invite you to step into a mesmerizing garden inspired by Milly-la-Forêt, where golden rabbits leap amidst diamond-studded bushes, owls flutter among ruby-adorned branches, and majestic swans glide across sapphire-fringed ponds. This magical tableau is further enriched with a fox, squirrel, and deer, brought to life through the vivid intensity of chrysoprase.
Completing this couture nature, delicate yellow and rose gold foliage intertwines with jewel-encrusted flowerbeds, creating a lush theatre of elegance. As the final surprises of Diorama herald the second chapter, Diorigami, a necklace, ring, and earrings portray flourishing greenery, seamlessly enhancing the grandeur of this sumptuous selection.
