The next Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) will take place January 14-17. Four days, instead of the usual five, and longer opening hours, from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Confirming Geneva as the elected location for SIHH, and continuing an immensely popular initiative from the previous two years, doors will open to the public on Thursday, with a special late-night opening until 10 pm.

After a steady increase in the number of exhibiting brands over the past three editions, SIHH 2019 presents a consolidated line-up of 35 exhibitors, which includes 18 historic Maisons and 17 independents in the Carré des Horlogers.

Among the historic Maisons it is to notice the arrival of BOVET, founded in 1822.

This balance between established names and representatives of watchmaking’s new wave is, without doubt, one of the strengths of an event whose diversity reflects the multiple facets of the Fine Watchmaking industry today.

SIHH is very much a connected event. This strategy to open SIHH to the world and be part of the digital era is a major asset which complements the exclusivity that defines the fair.

Something that could no longer be disregarded if one considers the dominating influence of social media and of how everything happens on Instagram (almost) at first, then in the real world.

Carrying on from this successful debut, SIHH Live, therefore, returns in 2019 on an even grander scale. A vast programme of content, with talks, panel discussions and debates, contributes to the fair’s international reach and adds to the desirability of Fine Watchmaking throughout the world.

Not only is SIHH an event that has to be experienced, it can now be experienced anywhere in the world… and by the 20,000 visitors who are again expected in Geneva next year.
